When she's not working as a school chaplain, writing, and enjoying her family, Laurinda loves nothing more than sitting around a campfire with good music, a glass of wine and great company.
Laurinda believes we all have a powerful story to tell and that all in all: Love is a beautiful mess. Laurinda grew up on an oyster farm on the Central Coast where she enjoyed playing in the mangroves with her three big brothers on her creekside property.
A firm believer in happily-ever-afters, she fell in love with the power of story in grade five, when her mum bought her Gone with the Wind from a second-hand-bookstore on the Hawkesbury River.
Marrying her high-school sweetheart, Laurinda began her own love story, making her home in Newcastle with her husband, three teenagers and walking teddy bears, Fleetwood and Delilah.
